    Project certification for Sandbank offshore wind farm completed

    TÜV SÜD’s experts have supported the large-scale project over the past 30 months. Certification was awarded in accordance with the standard of the German Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), and covers supervision and inspection of wind turbine, foundation, sub-station and internal cable manufacturing, transport, installation and commissioning for the wind farm.     On April 13, Germany’s Federal Network Agency announced the results of a call for tenders for offshore wind farms. The tender was awarded to Dong Energy and EnBW for a total of four wind farms in the North Sea with a total capacity of 1,490 MW. Three of the projects that were awarded contracts submitted bids for 0.00 cents.
